Chic - Chic

I’ve remixed Chic’s self-titled debut album, Chic (1977), into Dolby Atmos from the original multi-track tapes, with one track using an upmix due to missing tapes, for its 2025 release on streaming services, with Nile Rodgers’ feedback and approval ensuring fidelity to the original stereo mix. This album, bursting with tracks like Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah) and Everybody Dance, captures the essence of 1970s disco and pop, driven by Rodgers’ iconic guitar and Bernard Edwards’ pulsing bass.
