Hawkwind - Warrior On The Edge of Time

Recorded in 1975 with Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Lemmy, Simon House, Simon King and Alan Powell, Warrior on the Edge of Time is a cornerstone of Hawkwind’s catalogue and one of the most significant rock albums of the mid-70s.
I first mixed the album back in 2013 for the Atomhenge expanded edition, creating new stereo and 5.1 surround versions from the original multi-track master tapes. I’m pleased to announce that a new edition of Warrior on the Edge of Time is now available to download from Headphone Dust as a HD Deluxe Atmos Edition.
This new release revisits those mixes with updated 2026 stereo and 5.1 surround versions, alongside brand new Dolby Atmos and Binaural mixes. Also included are a selection of 2026 remasters of several of the bonus tracks from that original Atomhenge release.
One thing worth mentioning, Spiral Galaxy 28948 and Kings of Speed don’t have complete multitrack recordings surviving, so the 5.1 and Atmos presentations of those two tracks are upmixes rather than discrete mixes from the original source material.
