King Crimson - Larks Tongues in Aspic
I’ve remixed King Crimson’s Larks’ Tongues in Aspic for its 2012 40th anniversary reissue, working with Robert Fripp to create new stereo and 5.1 surround sound mixes, with the CD/DVD-A package including high-resolution stereo versions of the new and original 1973 mixes, alternate takes, unreleased session material, and video footage. Released in 1973 with Fripp as the only returning member, joined by Bill Bruford, John Wetton, David Cross, and Jamie Muir, the album’s radical mix of fierce riffs, pastoral violin interludes, and experimental textures, like the unhinged Larks’ Tongues in Aspic, Part Two - make this a landmark Crimson release.
