Steven Wilson Remixes in 2025: Pink Floyd in Pompeii hits #1 plus releases by the Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, Jeff Buckley & many more!
There are plenty more projects lined up for 2026, too.
A lot of my work remixing classic albums (primarily into Atmos) came out throughout 2025. I was of course on tour most of the year, so most of the work was done in 2023-24 or even earlier, but almost all seemed to pile-up for release in the last 6 months, leading people to speculate if I had a clone or ever slept!
A personal highlight was my new stereo / Atmos mix of the soundtrack to Pink Floyd at Pompeii, which was screened worldwide in cinemas and reached number one in the UK album chart.
Other releases I had the honour to be involved with were Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Welcome to the Pleasure Dome, The Rolling Stones - Black and Blue, Phil Collins - No Jacket Required, New Order - Brotherhood, Deep Purple - Made in Japan, Jethro Tull - Still Living in the Past, Spandau Ballet - Everything is Now, The Who - Who Are You, Grateful Dead - Blues for Allah, and right at the end of 2025 another personal favourite, Jeff Buckley - Grace. Additionally, Atmos updated 2025 editions of several albums I’d already remixed in the past included classics by XTC, Yes, Tears for Fears, King Crimson and Chicago.
If you bought, listened to, or just enjoyed any of these I thank you! There are plenty more projects lined up for 2026.

The Pompeii remix hitting #1 is well-deserved, that project really showcases how spatial audio can breathe new life into archival recordings. I actually saw it in theaters and the Atmos mix made certian moments hit differently than the original stereo ever could. It's kinda wild how much detail gets revealed when mixing for immersive formats, stuff that was always there but buried. Looking foward to whatever's next in the pipeline!
Your atmos-mixes are really great!!! Thanks for remixing FGTH, Tears for Fears and Simple Minds. Enjoying them every day. Hopefully 2026 will be another year of great mixes on blu ray: Frankie with Liverpool, Peter Gabriel's So, Talk Talk or another Simple Minds/ Tears for Fears/ Pink Floyd (Wall/Division Bell). Anyway, keep doing your great work!!!!!!
