Suede - Coming Up
New 2026 remixes of the classic 1996 album in stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos out 25th September 2026!
Suede’s classic 1996 album, Coming Up, is being reissued for its 30th anniversary across a number of formats including a blu-ray audio disc featuring my 2026 remix in stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos. The new mixes were created under the supervision of Neil and Richard from the band, and original producer Ed Buller. Additionally the new stereo mix is being issued on a very limited SDE exclusive ‘green and yellow blended’ vinyl. Both of these formats are exclusive to Super Deluxe Edition. The blu-ray also features instrumental stereo, the original mix, 24 bonus tracks (in stereo) comprising B-sides and other non-album tracks, and all five promo videos for the singles.
The band’s first album recorded without Bernard Butler, Coming Up featured a new look Suede line up as Brett Anderson (singing), Mat Osman (bass) and Simon Gilbert (drums) were joined by Neil Codling (keyboards/guitar) and Richard Oakes (guitar). The album was a critical and commercial success. It was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and reached number one in the UK album charts and all five singles – ‘Trash’, ‘Beautiful Ones’, ‘Saturday Night’, ‘Lazy’ and ‘Filmstar’ – reached the top 10 in the singles chart in the UK
The SDE blu-ray audio is a time-limited release; the pre-order window closes at midnight GMT on 29 July 2026.
