The Grateful Dead - Europe '72

I’ve remixed the Grateful Dead’s Europe ‘72 for its 2025 release on streaming services, creating a Dolby Atmos mix and a 5.1 surround sound mix from the original 16-track recordings of their April-May 1972 European tour, augmented by studio overdubs for the 1972 triple-LP set. Capturing the band at their peak with tracks like Jack Straw and Brown-Eyed Women, my Atmos mix places listeners at the heart of the performance, with rhythm guitars panned to side speakers, lead vocals in the center, and lead guitar, piano, and organ through the front height channels, with the Dead’s harmonies across all speakers, including the top ones.
