Twelfth Night - Smiling At Grief (Select Tracks)

I’ve created new stereo remixes of two tracks—East of Eden and Three Dancers—for Twelfth Night’s Smiling At Grief Definitive Edition, released 25th March 2022 on the band’s own Twelfth Night Records label, marking their first vinyl release since Fact and Fiction in 1982. Recorded in 1981 and originally issued as a cassette in 1982, this album captures the band’s early neo-prog spirit with intricate arrangements and emotive melodies, and this reimagined version features contributions from prog peers like Tim Bowness, Rob Reed, Karl Groom, and Peter Jones, each reworking tracks from the original master tapes. Available as heavyweight vinyl with new artwork, plus double CD and download editions with alternative mixes, this release is a fitting 40th anniversary celebration of Twelfth Night’s foundational work.
