I’ve remixed Yes’s Close to the Edge for its 2013 reissue on the Panegyric label, using the original multi-track tapes to create a new stereo mix and a 5.1 surround sound mix. This 1972 album, one of progressive rock’s true masterpieces, brims with Jon Anderson’s poetic lyrics, the band’s shifting melodic themes, and Eddie Offord’s visionary production.
