Just announced is my new mix of The Rolling Stones classic 1976 album Black and Blue, to be released across a number of formats by Universal Music on 14th November.
I think you now are well respected name in the music business. Working with the Stones is a big thing. I hope there will be more to come. Congrats Steven, well done
Unfortunately, the new VINYL editions reveal that you accidentally MUTED OUT the vocals on "Hot Stuff’ at 2:50 right after the guitar solo. As a result, the word “hot” is missing, and the vocals instead come back in awkwardly on the word “stuff”. Problem first pointed out on the YouTube channel Hang Fire: A Rolling Stones Podcast soon after the streaming version first dropped. We see now that the problem has been fixed on all the streaming platforms, but that it was discovered too late to fix the physical product that has already been shipped. One of my favorite songs on a classic Stones album, and now the vocal has been damaged. Perhaps you have simply been taking on too many projects, and are no longer giving each the full attention they deserve. A sad result.

Black and Blue is a very underrated album for the Stones. My personal favorites are "Hot Stuff" and "Hey Negrita."

Underrated album… worth the price of admission for Hand of Fate alone.
A middling work in my view, still it’s got some good cuts, and I’m sure your mixes will sound great!
